Blogmas Day 9: Another Holiday Look

Hey everyone!

It’s Friday!!! (or at least it was when I was originally posting this, haha!) I don’t know how many times I can say I’m so excited for Christmas, BUT I’m so excited for Christmas!!! ahaha! Although I still have to wrap a few presents. I will have today’s (Saturday) post up later on tonight. I got home super late last night from work, so that’s why I didn’t post last night. I was going to post this look earlier, however when I was reviewing the look, pictures, and the details; I realized I just didn’t like it. I already had way to many like it, so I decided to scratch the whole look and create a new one!

So therefore I created this dark smokey eye and nude lip look! You can totally spice it up even more by adding liner, lashes, and even darker/bolder lips. I decided to keep it a bit more “natural”. I love this look! I think it is perfect for the holidays! If you want to find out how to achieve this smokey holiday look then keep on reading!

THE LOOK:

EYES:

➝Smashbox Photo Finish 24hr Eye Primer ⋮ I applied this with my finer tips all over my lids.

➝Tarte Tarteist Pro Eyeshadow Palette ⋮

Indie + Bold ⋮ I mixed this two together to get the “transition” shade that I was looking for. I used a tapered blending brush for this.

Profesh ⋮ I took this on a smaller blending brush in my crease. Focusing more so on the outer lid and crease and then blending outward. I took whatever was left over on my brush and blended it inwards.

Mod ⋮ I took this on the same brush and focused it on the outer half of my lid.

Drama ⋮ I used a pencil brush and the same small blending brush as before, and blended this on the very outer corner or “V” area. I needed a little more depth to my eye.

Minx ⋮ I took this gorgeous two toned shade on the inner corner of my lid. I used a flat shader brush to pack the color on, and then went in with that small blending brush to blend it all together.

Profesh ⋮ I took this on a very small flat shader/pencil brush. I then just swept it under my eyes, and if there were any hash lines I used my ring finger to blend it out.

➝Tarte Lash Curler

➝Tarte Tarteist Pro Mascara ⋮ I swear I didn’t realized this was all Tarte LOL!

FACE:

➝Smashbox primers in the Pore Filler & Primer Water ⋮ I only used the pore filler in my T-Zone and then spritzed the priming water all over my face a few times.

➝Make Up Forever HD Stick Foundation in Y225 ⋮ I put a few stripes all over my face, and then blended them out with a damp beauty blender.

➝MAC Pro Concealer in NW15 ⋮ I took a half of a pump on the back of my hand and then took some on my beauty blender. I blended this under my eyes.

➝RCMA No-Color Powder ⋮ I took this on a large tapered powder brush, and placed it all over my face, starting with under my eyes.

➝Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Golden Light ⋮ I took this on a large flat top brush and bronzed in all the normal spots.

➝Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaarty ⋮ I took this on a angled blush brush and swept it on the apples of my cheeks and back towards my hair line.

➝ABH Glow Kit in Sun Dipped in Summer ⋮ I used a small tapered face brush and applied it to the tops on my cheekbones.

BROWS & LIPS:

➝ABH Brow Powder in Soft Brown ⋮ I took this on a brow brush and just filled in any sparse areas! I just got my brows done this morning so I didn’t have to worry about shaping them!

➝ABH Clear Brow Gel ⋮ Just to set my brows in place all day!

➝Stila Liquid Lip in Caramello ⋮ On of my all-time favorite nudes for when I’m pale AF!

That’s all for this look! I hope you guys loved it as much as I do! I’ll see you all real soon for todays post!
